Cuadernos del Sur. Historia is an institution of the Department of Humanities and has an annual call. Is to disseminate articles, research reports, reviews, news, debates and interviews that they are distinguished by critical thinking, encourage the dispute, which combine physical evidence with theoretical models, which promote interdisciplinary dialogue, or that represent the most innovative of each discipline.
It is designed to be a means of communication between authors and specialists, but also published work on revising and updating for a readership wider sector for the transfer of information from production centers into the educational system.
To ensure maximum transparency, the entries will be submitted to arbitration specialists in each discipline, outside the institution.

The abbreviation of its title is Cuad. Sur, Hist., that must be used in bibliographies, footnotes, legends and references.
