This esay reviews the issue of subjectivity in four contemporary poets, Daniel García Helder, Fabián Casas, Silvana Franzetti, and Martín Gambarotta, as the construction of a gaze that puts into question the postmodern stasis. The constitution of the outside as a boundary, and of the dialectic image, the mediation, and the series of refractary images are some of the main articulations of this questioning that demands a strong critical response.
