This paper takes into account two different dimensions. On the one hand, it focuses on the theoretical reflection on the relation between poetry and politics; on the other, it reflects on the poetry written during the Argentine military dictatorship (1976-1983). It has a greater interest in analyzing poetical expressions that built an alternative sense faced with a physical and social disintegration process, questioning discourse hegemonic orders against an official use of language, rather than performing a more quantitative or merely descriptive survey. In this context, some forms of subjectivity under circumstances of physical repression within the scope of cultural censorship in a process of fragmentary experience of History are also analyzed.
