Abstract

MALLOL, Anahí Diana. Hacia una subjetividad pop: poesía, ficción y sujeto en algunas poetas argentinas. Cuad.Sur, Let. [online]. 2004, n.34, pp. 139-164. ISSN 2362-2970.

To reveal a secret, to tell the whole truth, to share what happens in privacy, to undress feelings, are some of the effects of speech genders considered to be womwn like. Moreover, these operations are regarded, to a great extent, as a characteristic of the lyric gender, as it is acknoeledged that lyrics always refers to a first person singular that speaks on its own behalf, i.e. an 'I' that 'expresses' itself or is responsible of what it is said. In order tu study the way a fictinal 'I' and a pop-styled flat subject (wich modifies every set guideline concerning the lyric subject), is installed in Susana Villalba's poetry and other female poets of the 90's, this work analyses the subjectivity of this 'I' by reviewing some theories about the matter and the connection between poetry and autobiography. At the same time, these poetics highlight as fundamental the careful consideration of the social composition of subjectivity and the main role played by those images shown in the media.

Keywords : Subjectivity; Poetry; Fiction.
