DI STEFANO, Mariana. Políticas de lectura y escritura en las escuelas del anarquismo en la Argentina a principios del siglo XX. Cuad.Sur, Let. [online]. 2005, n.35-36, pp. 75-95. ISSN 1668-7426.
This paper analizes, from a glotopolitical perspective, some of the reading and writing policies anarchism of the beginnings of the twentieth century evolved in educational experiences it developed in Argentina. A reading book, Correspondencia escolar (PrimerManuscrito), is analyzed. It was written by the outstanding Italian anarchist leader Carlos Malato, in 1905, specially for the Biblioteca de la Escuela Moderna de Barcelona (Barcelona Modern School Library), which was created and directed by an outstanding pedagogy specialist, the Catalan acrata Francisco Ferrer y Guardia. The book was distributed in Argentina. The analysis focuses two operations on language: in the first place, the operation which results from the appropriation of an official school genre, aprropriation based on the contestatarian enunciation, which produces thematical, structural, stylistic transformations and modifies so much the discursive approach of the topics it deals with that it establishes a new teaching subject for schools. In the second place, operations on representations about uses of writing are analyzed: writing seems to be conceived as an ego technology, indispensable for the subject construction in the libertarian identity.
