This piece of work proposes to take part intellectually and politically (Grüner, 1998) in the applicable way of explaining the structure of American Spanish since two conceptions which give it its social ideology back: Product and Loot. Both of them enroll Spanish of America on an intercultural troubled colonial scene that implied fast a new prevailing language's success on American land and quiet but progressive extinction of huge variety of spoken languages by native societies. The theoretical axis which manages my work is colonial-linguistic periodicity, propounded by Calvet (2005). I outline, from this point of view, the spreading process of Spanish usage in American colonial society's different layers; first, based on colonial social rank's level and then on countryside's subordination, in relation to city. The central plot consists of the fact that first American Spanish trials (majority transcriptions from Indian languages to Spanish, grammar books and dictionaries for evangelist process, first historiographic and literary texts written by half-castes), are the product of a small bilingual social group whose constitution was a colonial undertaking's immediate effect.
