Resumen

LAISECA, Laura. La discrepancia platónica entre arte y verdad: Nietzsche en la interpretación de Heidegger. Cuad. Sur, Filos. [online]. 2007, n.36, pp. 11-41. ISSN 1668-7434.

This paper offers Heidegger's interpretation of the relation between art and truth in Plato's and Nietzsche's philosophy. In the lecture of 1936 "The Will of power as art" Heidegger conceives this relation in Plato like a "blessed discrepancy". He remarks that art and truth are in an opposition for Nietzsche. Several Plato's texts are analyzed in order to show how the hierarchical conception of The Republic (in which beauty is subordinated to truth) is not held in Phaidros. Finally the article remarks Nietzsche's interpretation of truth and art in order to examine the differences with Heidegger's later lectures.

Palabras llave : Heidegger; Nietzsche; Art and truth.
