Considered from an archaeological perspective, the appearance of the Life together with other two objectivities cuasi - transcendentales like the Work and the Language, they seemed to represent for Foucault an alternative opposite to the advance of the subjectivism in philosophy. The genealogical investigation, nevertheless, puts in evidence as the increasing autonomy and biological boarding of the life more than a route of deantropologisation it turns into a certain threat of animality. In his last works, the author finds in the Greek classic world a key to think the life about political terms different from the implemented ones for the biopolitical. In this article, we try to cross synthetically these three moments of Michel Foucault's boarding of the question of the life.
