This article proposes to reconsider the significance of the notion of kairos in the context of a theory of the sensibility. We support that a review from a theory of the sublime thing would contribute a new image of this form of the temporality in the measurement in which this time admits for the putting in march of a crisis that it concerns the general conditions of the experience and the judgment that concern of a particular object. Kairos, in this respect, is the axial point where the speech and the time they interlace provoking the effect of commotion that implies the change of opinion for route of the argument.
