LESERRE, Daniel. Kant y la filosofía del lenguaje: recepción y proyección en la filosofía de las formas simbólicas de E. Cassirer. Cuad. Sur, Filos. [online]. 2011, n.40, pp. 103-118. ISSN 2362-2989.

The analysis of the relation between Kant's philosophy and the philosophy of language shows two poles. On the one hand, interpreters hold that Kant did not speak about language and in his work there is no articulated philosophy of language and, on the other hand, his influence on the philosophy of language is clearly admitted. Guided by the comparison between central aspects of the Kantian critical philosophy and Cassirer's philosophy of language, this paper examines such a relation. As a result of this comparison, the paper holds that the development of the notion of symbolic form, constructed on a Kantian basis as Cassirer explicitly acknowledges, makes it possible an internal interpretation of Kant's work, which articulates the Kantian indications on language on the basis of the concept of action. In this way this paper suggests the possibility of a philosophy of language in Kant's work.
