This paper analyzes the acceptance in Latin America of the social policies adopted by Mexican revolutionary governments in the 1920s. It includes a comparative study of the thinking of two Peruvian intellectuals: Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre and José Carlos Mariátegui. It also considers both the reflections arising from the Mexican case and the political actions stemming from said reflection.
