The partition of Germany during the Cold War, meant a encouragement to construct a more advanced, democratic or egalitarian society in both parts, in a competition relationship, showing the superiority of its models to its inhabitants, even representing itself like the authentic Germany to the rest of the world. The construction of socialism in the RDA takes place in this logic. Its development will be conditioned by belonging to the Soviet block, and by the Capitalism of its western homonym. Hence, the communist leaders will look forward to create better social conditions through programs set aside to all sectors, wich will tend to extend themselves throughout their existence as state, presenting their regime like a advanced society model. The construction of the socialist values is reflected in diverse popular books, where are analyzed the forms in wich social covering, protection and  scientific, cultural and sport development generates a social project that has not been still sufficiently analyzed in the Hispanic world. We will deliberate on these projects to visualize the role of the state in the construction of a social order, in order to lay the foundations of his legitimation.
