In this work, contributions to check the possible link between urban scale and quality of life in Argentina at the beginning of XXI century are offered. In the first place, changes verified in the Argentinean urban system are referred to. Second, a quality of life index for Argentine at 2001 used to establish the correlation between both dimensions is presented and discussed. Third, the association between urban hierarchy and quality of life is made having under consideration the respective regional contexts. Lastly, a brief account of the factors that can be influencing on this association is made to be able to analyse the possible and future perspectives.
