In this work the changes ocurred in the trade nutritious retailer of Argentina are analyzed, in relation to the "traditional trade", known as warehouses and pantries, during the last economic, political and social crisis experienced in Argentina starting in 2001. It is observed that in a crisis context people "take refuge" in their daily life, "in that known", in the personal relationships, in the vicinity, in the territorial vicinity; that is to say, territorial horizontality that they give a new meaning to the place of the traditional trade are recreated.
