Since the crisis of the welfare state and the emergence of the globalization process, there has been a growing resignification of the role of organizations and collective action in economic development. This resignification has come hand in hand with the notion of governance. This work analyzes a specific case of territorial governance, the Association for the Development of Patagones in Argentina. Throughout this research, its gestation process is described, the policies implemented and its main strengths and weaknesses are identified. Finally, an overview about its future as an agent boosting economic development is provided.
