Cooperatives seek to consolidate their organizational identity focusing management on values and principles, which are the basic elements of their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This concept is at the core of these entities, which were pioneers in its development and practice. This paper aims to demonstrate how Cooperativa Obrera Ltda. complies with CSR by offering healthy food products. An analysis of its Functional Food project reflects its concern for consumers's diet and the incidence this has on their health. As regards methodology, we have worked on the development of a case study. Upon reading this study, we can be observe the recognition the project has obtained from consumers and different state agencies.
