The purpose of this paper is to present the teaching experience carried out in Professional Performance of an Independent Certified Public Accountant, a last-year subject of the Accountancy course at Universidad Nacional del Sur. There is a description of the strategies and tools used to arrive at the conclusions on the results obtained and formulate proposals. The core of the experience was a practical activity related to the performance of the Accountant. To do it, the students had to integrate the theoretical-practical knowledge acquired throughout the course in a simulated business activity to go beyond the application of accounting standards to specific cases. The variety of pedagogical strategies used are different from the classical methods of transmitting knowledge and evaluating its results.
