Abstract

MORALES CASTRO, José Antonio. Factores que influyen en las acciones sustentables de la bolsa mexicana de valores. Escr. Contab. Adm. [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.1, pp. 15-47. ISSN 1853-2055.

Models that explain share price formation of the companies listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange have been tested primarily for conventional companies. Being sustainable firms better prepared to deal with economic challenges, and as such assumed not to be affected by macroeconomic variables, we tested the hypothesis that key variables exert a greater influence than macroeconomic variables on the share price formation of 21 sustainable companies on the Mexican Stock Exchange. To do this, multiple regressions for each share were obtained and, using the typical betas for each equation that explains each share price, it was found that only in three companies do key factors mainly influence share prices, whereas in the other companies share prices are mainly influenced by macroeconomic factors.

Keywords : Determinants; Sustainable Share Price; Mexican Stock Exchange.
